“As a dual masters in architecture and real estate development student I was naturally drawn to the Michigan real estate Club with the aim to bridge architectural planning with underwriting and analysing real estate assets. In my 2 years in the club as a member and graduate Co President I was able to create links and transparency between architecture, planning and real estate development across Taubman College, The Weiser Center and the Ross School of Business. I learned about the complex world of commercial real estate from peers and mentors of diverse backgrounds and the variety of workshops the club offers like financial modelling, market studies, interview preparations, access to educational material and of-course the Real Estate Treks contributed to real time understanding of the world of CRE. Above all, building a network of life long friends was the most enjoyable part!”

“The michigan real estate club was my first introduction to the commercial real estate industry. It taught me the variety of opportunities available within CRE and how I could best prepare to continue in the industry. The education and technical skills I learned were a huge help in my interviews throughout college. Some of my favorite moments in MREC were the treks to Detroit and Chicago, in addition to getting to know the other members better.”
