History of THE FORUM & Re-Con

"Placemaking In The City & Neighborhood of Tomorrow"

The UM/ULI Real Estate Forum began as a reunion of Professor Peter Allen's students, Michigan real estate alumni, and industry professionals.  Since the beginning, the Forum provided an annual opportunity for collaboration, innovation and influence through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices in the industry.  The event has served as the pinnacle of Michigan's real estate program for decades.

Over the years, the event has always evolved, whether it be the changing of event programming, venues, time of year, or host partners such as the Michigan Real Estate Certificate Program. Despite changes, the convention has always been aimed at better honoring the mission of connecting Michigan real estate students and alumni.

We are thrilled to welcome back our Michigan Real Estate Alumni, friends, and industry professionals to the Real Estate Convention! Michigan has produced some of the greatest real estate minds in the industry, and RE-Con marks the largest returning of real estate alumni to Ann Arbor ever. We look forward to alumni having the opportunity to reconnect with each other and students on campus!
